How to Bypass and Set Web Proxy

WARNING: When a proxy server is set, you cannot access any other website aside from the server/site you have set. To remove proxy, just uncheck “Use a proxy server…” check box. (You will see the said check box later on this article)

 

- Press Ctrl+R on your keyboard for Run, then type in Control Panel. Or you may just open Control Panel under start menu.

- Under Control Panel go to View by: then select Small Icons

 

 

- Then select Internet Options

 

- Under Internet Options, Go to Connections tab and click on LAN Settings

 

- Under LAN Settings. Tick the checkbox for "Use a proxy server for your LAN…”

- Then on the Address box, type in the IP address of the site/server you want to set as proxy, sample 118.178.213.250. For Port just type 80.

- Tick the “Bypass proxy server…” box. Then click OK

- Re-launch your browser.
